Bill has been working on environmental and sustainability programmes since 1997 in the UK, Southern Africa and New Zealand. Bill has developed, fundraised, and managed a range of environmental projects dealing with energy and water use, travel behaviour, waste minimisation and small business environmental management. In New Zealand, he has managed large scale behaviour change projects, principally in transport, for the Auckland Regional Council and ARTA, and worked on behaviour change stragegies for MfE and EECA. As a part-time senior tutor at the University of Auckland, he taught the theory of environmental psychology and the principles and practice of sustainable behaviour change. Bill holds a BA in Economics and Development Studies and an MA in Environment, Development and Policy. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
